We’ve got some nice big Hungarian wax peppers growing!
They are supposed to go from green to yellow to orange to red. We’ve got at least ten of them, even though we have no bees indoors and the plants are a bit crowded. (We were going to replant a couple, but it never happened.)
On the other hand, these are our strawberries.
Poor guys were in the back room and got forgotten for a couple weeks while I was first sick (did you know coffee can give you leaky gut? The more you know!) and then had to go home for my grandpa’s funeral. I’m still watering them because I think there’s still a little green bit in there, but we’ll see.
I’m starting to think about plans for next year. We will still be in this apartment next summer, and we have limited space. We’ll do peppers again for sure. I’m thinking some tomatoes would hit the spot too. Maybe do fewer herbs, since I didn’t use those as much as I thought. Except for mint. I certainly perfected the mojito this summer. I’ll prioritize some veggies instead.
What are your plans for next year? Anyone planning that far ahead?
